Are loans available to everyone?
The phrase loans for everyone is a marketing claim, not a reliable description of consumer lending. A product may be open to applications from a broad audience, but the lender must still decide whether an individual can borrow. An application form, an account or a displayed limit does not guarantee an agreement.
Eligibility is more than being an adult
Providers set requirements relating to matters such as age, residency, identification and the information they need to verify. They also assess documented income, existing obligations and the ability to make the proposed payments. Meeting one condition does not cancel the others.
A salary does not make every loan affordable. Someone with regular pay can already have substantial commitments or high essential costs. A person without an employment contract may have another income source, but its sustainability and acceptability must be assessed. Neither employment nor its absence produces a universal answer.
A personalised offer can differ from an advertisement
The available amount, term and price may change after the assessment. Compare the final offer with your actual need. Do not increase the amount simply because the lender offers more, or combine several small loans to reach a sum that one provider would not approve.
Check BVKKMN, all fees and the total amount payable. If a discount is offered, read the customer and repayment conditions. Our loan comparison checklist provides a consistent way to record the figures.
Be especially cautious when someone promises approval regardless of income, debts or records, particularly if they demand an advance payment. Verify the provider independently. If normal lenders are declining an unaffordable request, a more forceful advertisement does not solve the budget problem. Review the expense and seek a workable arrangement before adding another obligation.
