Loans for students in Lithuania: distinguish the options

Being a student does not create one universal route to borrowing. Finance connected with education can have a different purpose and application process from ordinary consumer credit. Before comparing products, identify whether the need concerns tuition, living costs, equipment or an unrelated personal purchase. The product should match that purpose.

Do not confuse different loan types

Check current official information about any education-finance scheme you are considering, including its eligibility, dates and repayment arrangements. For ordinary consumer credit, the provider assesses documented income, existing obligations, residency and its own criteria.
